    · Build a trusted profile. Add a profile picture.

    · Add a detailed and honest description of the product and its condition. Use a photo that clearly shows the item and its condition. If possible, include multiple, original photos of the item rather than a photo from a company website. Uploading more photos will often let you sell faster.

    · Get the buyer to look over the item – if applicable – and make sure that it's what they want before you accept payment.

    Good to know

  • One of the steps in the upload process is to add a price to your product or service. You can decide what price you give and our advice is also to play with your prices. By playing with the price you will find out what your customers are willing to pay.

  • If you have sold your product to a buyer, it is up to the seller and buyer to agree on the shipping method. You can either choose to meet in person (we recommend arranging your meeting in a public, well-lit area. Let others know where you're heading) or to ship the product. The buyer has to make sure to package and ship the item. Agree upon who pays for the shipping costs beforehand and the shipping method. A personal touch is always nice.

If you have offered a service, please make good agreements about the payment method (for instance per hour or per service).

We have the following tips for you:

    · Offer to use a secure person-to-person payment site, such as PayPal.

    · If you choose to pay electronically using wire transfer or money order solutions, avoid payment links and log in directly through the payment method's website.

    · Transactions are between the buyer and seller only, and no third-party guarantee should be involved.

  • If you have not agreed to meet in person with the buyer, it is upon agreement between you and the buyer who covers the shipping costs. Generally, buyers cover the shipping costs. Make sure to make clear agreements about this.

  • There are no fees for uploading your products or selling them on Stuudje. This means once your sale is successfully closed, you’ll receive the full selling price.

  • If you see any signs of suspicious activity, immediately cancel the transaction, report the listing or person, and call the local authorities if necessary.
